outflow channel shows streamlined islands that point eastward in the
now direction of the lava deposits. Radar-dark embayments in highland
areas denote lava ponding and flooding that occurred prior to
eastward channel cutting and formation of the distributary reach east
of the highlands (right center). Illumination is from the left at an
