Apollo 12 on a 3D Moon

Laurent Laveder captured images of the Moon in November 2006 and January 2007 and created a very successful anaglyph, which appeared in Astronomy Picture of the Day on 2 June 2007.

Patrick Vantuyne used Laveder's two lunar images to construct an alternative anaglyph and then marked the Apollo 12 landing site.
