SP-368 Biomedical Results of Apollo

PREFACE

[v] Biomedical research is difficult under the best of laboratory conditions. Biomedical research, imbedded in the complex matrix of manned space flight, is very, very difficult. This volume summarrizes the Life Science studies carried out during the Apollo Program. That such research was possible at al is a tribute to the ingenuity and hard work of the many investigators associated with the program. It represents both a learning experience for those involved and a solid scientific basis on which to build for future manned flight.
