Schematic of the Crazing Incidence
X-ray Telescope. X-rays entering the telescope strike the slightly
curved mirrors at a grazing angle and are concentrated in the focal
plane. The four concentric mirrors concentrated the flux of X-rays so
that objects 1000 times fainter than ever detected before could be
