I was born in early 2001 outside Philly (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). Some of my earliest memories are of me sitting in front of my parents' computer, yearning to learn as much as I could about the planets in our Solar System. Though I did not live through many of the fantastic achievements in space of the 20th century, I have taken a staunch interest in the history of our exploration of the world beyond Earth. With a heightened interest in the early and advanced manned flights of the Gemini and Apollo programs, learning about these missions has become a regular hobby for me. I am proud to have contributed to this journal, no matter how small, and hope that it inspires the next generation of Americans, and humans, to explore space as we did before.
