Born at Landgraaf, The Netherlands, I was fourteen years old at the time Neil and Buzz set foot on the moon and from that moment on I was completely "lost". Spaceflight and in particular manned spaceflight became a passion I never lost.

Rob Sabel Spaceflight and in particular manned spaceflight became a passion I never lost. I watched the lunar landings as much as was possible on television, which was most of the time annoying because of my brothers and sisters who didn't care. After that, I collected all the information, pictures, videos and books about the Apollo program I could find. In the early 90's the internet came up and my passion got boosted immediately ! High quality images, drawings, press kits, reports etc etc came within reach and gave me a far more better understanding of what the astronauts experienced during these flights. Especially, the magnificent ALSJ by Eric M. Jones belongs to one of the top sites on this subject and for more than 10 years now I'm a regular visitor. October 2010
