My name is Roberto Gorla. I live in Northern Italy near Milan. I was born in 1957 and have followed the ALSJ for more than a decade. I also own a beloved copy of it on CD-ROM.
I was 12 when I fell in love with astronomy and space exploration. On a night in July of more than forty years ago I was alone in front of a small b/w TV set until the wee hours, watching two men walk on the Moon for the first time, Apart from being a free-lance management consultant and a lazy amateur astronomer, I'm currently contributing to the Beautiful Mars Project from HiRise/UA (http://www.uahirise.org/epo/).
