Apollo Lunar Surface Journal Banner

Ron Rosano

I was born in the early 1960's in San Francisco and have always had a fascination with astronomy and the world beyond Earth. I followed the lunar landings very closely in my childhood.

Ron Rosano Although I didn't choose a career in a astronomy-related field, I feel that I've always been a student of the subject. I've been active with the San Francisco Amateur Astronomers, the Astronomical Society of the Pacific's Project Astro, and built a 10" Dobsonian with John Dobson. Through Project Astro, I conduct astronomy lessons with fourth graders on an occasional basis and teach Astronomy Club at a local elementary school each Friday at lunchtime. I work for a small real estate company, and when I'm not spending time with my wife & kids, I pursue interests in music, photography, hiking, mountain biking, and computers.
